One not glamorous thing I’ve discovered

The flu. It ravaged our entire house, except for our sweet Nola. I was so worried that I would pass it to her, but I took the doctors advice and kept breast feeding her. Because I was a sweaty mess, I opted to not make a video, but I am working on it right now glamour mommas!

Even when things are out of your control, and you feel like you’re drowning-remember, you are a good mom. You are doing your best.

Here we go!

Hey there glamour mommas (even if you don’t feel that way…you are!)

I just wanted to let you know why I am starting this. I will never profess to be an expert in the ways of mommy hood, in fact I am quite the opposite! My first child was born December 5th 2014. Her name is Nola Kyrie and I am IN LOVE, she’s amazing and i can’t stop staring at her!

Sorry, got off track for a second…

But I do believe that new mommas tend to put themselves last. I think a lot of people put themselves last. But imagine how much better you will be for your little one, your partner and your family if you put yourself first…even if it is for 5 minutes a day. 5 minutes, that’s the bare minimum. Why? Because you ARE WORTH IT.

Being a woman, a momma, a parent is hard work. And for some, thankless. It’s time to show yourself that you are worth 5 minutes a day for you and you only.

Here, I will give you some examples and show you how I do it, while having miss newborn Nola alongside me. And I’m not going to make it look perfect, because life just isn’t. It will be real, flaws and all-because that is still pretty glamorous.

Love, Natalie (and Nola)
